Meet Michelle

Founder of Out From Under Debt

Out From Under Debt exists because its founder, Michelle, understands money from every angle.

She has spent more than 20 years in financial services and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® with an MBA. She has advised clients from their first $100 to hundreds of millions in investments.

But her story did not start there.

At 21, as a working single mother, she struggled with debt and rebuilt her life step by step.

“You have the power to create the life you want. Believe.”

Michelle began in Workforce Development, helping disadvantaged workers build stable futures through meaningful work. After years of helping others build wealth, friends and family continued to come to her with the same frustration:

“I make money… but I still feel like it disappears.”

She searched for a simple tool to guide them out of debt, but it didn’t exist. 

And so OFU was born.
